Meet Kimberly Gant, Chief Stylist at Canvas
Growing up in the rainy Pacific Northwest, Kimberly learned the art of functional fashion at a young age. Now that her Gortex years are behind her, she believes everyone can look great with the help of an objective and educated eye.
Kimberly holds a B.A. in Humanities and Business Studies from Providence College. It was while studying art and fashion photography in Florence, Italy that a career in the apparel industry became a clear vision. Kimberly returned to her West Coast roots to pursue a graduate program at FIDM in Merchandise Product Development. Following graduation, she worked in corporate merchandising/buying for several large San Francisco-based retailers, including Gymboree and Sephora.
Eventually her love for fashion, styling, and helping people find the perfect fit led her to personal styling and image consulting. With a passion for helping people cultivate their wardrobe, she sees her primary role as that of a style coach. She has been helping the residents of San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area explore their personal style for the last eight years and has over twelve years of experience in the apparel and fashion industry.
